Spring Semester

The Spring Semester is underway!!!  We will be having Bench Marks in English 1 and English 2 next week!!!  We will use the results to focus in on any areas the kids are struggling in. It's looking like the STAAR EOC for English 1 will be April 7th and for English 2 it will be April 9th!!!

Microsoft Teams

We have made it through the 1st week of school! The students started out well in their English Classes and Humanities. Next week, all ELA Courses will begin their Units on Fiction.

Welcome Back!

    I just wanted to take a moment to welcome students and parents back to AFIA. I'm really excited to be returning for another year! I look forward to seeing all my previous students and parents, and as well getting to know all the new students and parents that will be joining the High School Campus with our incoming Freshman Class.
    This year, the English and Humanities Courses, will be featured on this blog. I will be posting information and aspects of our classes on this forum regularly. So please check in from time to time to see what our students and faculty have going on.
